In consequence of the appointment of Mr. Alexander as Registrar of the Supreme Court, and the vacancy thereby caused in the post of Deputy Registrar, I have the honor to request that you will be pleased to submit my name to His Excellency The Governor as a candidate for the present appointment, and also to support my application by your recommendation.
